Each year in Israel, the sexiest women in all the land migrate to Beersheba to take part in the Miss Fat and Beautiful Pageant. The contestants must weigh at least 180 lbs. to compete. There's even a talent contest (feel free to wildly speculate).

It all started a couple days ago when a cute girl emailed me a duckface photo. I posted it and, as usual, it drew the ire of our Chivers; the duckface is a zero-sum equation here at theCHIVE. But I admired the spunk it takes for a girl to stir the pot just to see our reaction. So I asked her to send us a smile, she obliged and y'all ate it up. Well it turns out this girl is more than just a pretty smile. Her name is Brittany Bergquist, and she earned nationwide notoriety in 2004 when, at just 13 years old, Brittany heard a news story about an American soldier stuck with a $7,000 cell phone bill he accrued by communicating with his family while he was serving in the Middle East. Unlike most people, Brittany took action and launched Cell Phones for Soldiers, Inc., a nonprofit organization that offers thousands of troops the opportunity to keep in closer contact with their loved ones. Today, Brittany continues to runs the multi-national corporation with her younger brother Robbie. Cell Phones for Soldiers collects used cell phones through more than 10,000 drop-off sites and sends them to ReCellular, a cell phone recycling company that pays CPFS for each donated phone. To date, Brittany has raised $7.5 Million dollars and sent more than 90 million minutes of talk time to our troops. She now attends Stonehill college where is Majoring in marketing. Then she turned 20, got hot, met a couple Presidents, became a Chiver, and flashed a smile… Did I mention she's single?
