| Welcome to GOOD's New Food Hub In December, GOOD welcomed the food writer Nicola Twilley into the fold. Nicola is the author of the blog Edible Geography and the co-founder of the Foodprint Project‚ and now she's the Food Editor at GOOD. For the past few weeks, Nicola has been preparing a new home for all of GOOD's daily writing on food. As she explains, "all of us (unless we are very unlucky or sick) interact with food several times a day, and those interactions are both shaped by and shape our individual and collective health, culture, community, politics, economics, infrastructure, and environment. What that means is that food is a really important lens through which we can understand and improve the world we live in." On GOOD's new Food hub, launched today, Nicola is covering daily food news, uncovering overlooked food stories, and gathering new perspectives on food from a diverse group of contributors "because both a neuroscientist and dishwasher have something interesting to tell us about what food is." We hope you enjoy what she's prepared. Read her introduction to the new Food hub or just dig right in. Read and discuss | |
